The Olive Grove
The original planting of the olive grove dates back to the first half of the 19th century although olive trees
had already been present in the area since 1400 when "sharecroppers, tenant farmers and farmers were obliged to plant four domestic trees and the same number of olive trees every year".
The farm
The property, abandoned for years, experienced its rebirth in 2020 thanks to the recovery of the old olive grove which, with its steps and the dry-stone walls that contain them, with its tortuous trunks and silvery foliage, is part of that agricultural landscape that characterizes the Umbrian hills.
The company is located in the municipality of Panicale, considered one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy, rich in history and traditions also due to its dominant position on Lake Trasimeno, the "blue
heart" of Umbria, a magical body of water which in for years it has enchanted artists and writers such as Perugino, Byron and Goethe.
